Three man brawl in moving box truck cab leads to crash
A wild fight behind the wheel has landed a Lake Worth, FL man in hot water. According to Connecticut State Police, the 46-year-old driver faces reckless endangerment charges after a multi-person brawl caused his box truck to careen off the highway near Greenwich on Sunday, May 12th.
The incident reportedly began after several hours on the road when the driver stopped at a shopping plaza. After a quick food purchase, he allegedly refused the passengers' request for a break, becoming irate, and insisting they continue driving.
Tensions escalated when the driver allegedly struck one passenger in the face, prompting intervention from the second passenger. This sparked a chaotic scene as the truck swerved across lanes, struck a guardrail, and plunged down an embankment.
Fortunately, injuries seem to be minor. Police reported visible facial injuries on the passenger struck by the driver, while the second passenger only sustained minor injuries.
