Crime ring raided: 160 pallets of stolen goods, worth $1.4 million seized

Last week marked the conclusion of a thorough investigation into an organized crime ring, led by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Their efforts resulted in the recovery of 160 pallets of stolen merchandise, totaling approximately $1.4 million in value, from a warehouse.

The Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team had been diligently investigating this trailer cargo theft ring since February. They executed a search warrant on Thursday night at a warehouse located off Highway 74 in the unincorporated area of Good Hope.

Upon entry, deputies discovered stacks of stolen goods, including food and industrial-grade tools.

During the search at the Good Hope location, truck driver Rajdeep Singh, 34, was apprehended and arrested on suspicion of possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. The department emphasized that this investigation is ongoing, with deputies actively working to determine Singh’s involvement and identify any additional suspects.
