CBP officers at the World Trade Bridge weren't fooled by a sugary cover story. A routine inspection uncovered 37 pounds of cocaine hidden in a tractor-trailer hauling cotton candy!

Officers flagged the rig for a closer look and with the help of canine units, discovered 15 packages containing the narcotics. The street value of the haul? Nearly half a million dollars.

"This seizure highlights the dedication of our frontline officers and the importance of our border security mission," said Port Director Albert Flores.

Homeland Security Investigations is now on the case to track down the culprits behind this not-so-sweet scheme.
