$3.5M in Cocaine Seized from Flatbed Driver

Officers from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations stationed at the Colombia-Solidarity Bridge, successfully intercepted a significant quantity of cocaine with an estimated street value exceeding $3.5 million.

The seizure took place on Tuesday, October 31, at the Colombia-Solidarity Bridge when a CBP officer directed a tractor trailer, which was transporting an empty flatbed trailer, to undergo a secondary inspection.

Utilizing a non-intrusive inspection system, CBP officers uncovered 108 packages containing a total of 266 pounds of suspected cocaine concealed within the conveyance.
