Tesla Semi Gets a Thumbs Up from DHL
DHL recently shared some exciting news about their experience with the Tesla Semi, and they’re pretty impressed with its performance. Back in 2017, they ordered 10 of these electric trucks right after the prototype was revealed, expecting production to start two years later. Now, seven years later, they’re still on board with Tesla.
This past summer, DHL Supply Chain USA put the Tesla Semi through its paces during a two-week trial in Livermore, California, covering 3,000 miles of regular operations. They even completed a 390-mile haul fully loaded at 75,000 pounds. The results confirmed that the Semi can handle DHL’s usual loads on a single charge.
