The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) will hold its third Registration Modernization Stakeholder Day next month.
This hybrid meeting, which will take place both in-person and virtually, aims to engage motor carriers, brokers, freight forwarders, insurance companies, financial institutions, process agents, blanket companies, and transportation service providers to gather their input on enhancing the registration experience with FMCSA.
The meeting is scheduled for October 21 from 1-4 p.m. Eastern. Interested participants, whether attending in-person or virtually, must register by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on October 14.
Attendance will be limited to 100 in-person attendees and 500 virtual attendees. In-person participants will have the opportunity to conduct user testing on aspects of the new registration system.
This meeting will assist FMCSA in developing a new online registration system aimed at improving the transparency and efficiency of its registration procedures. FMCSA is seeking user feedback to enhance the registration experience.
