With the nearshoring of manufacturing and the increasing demand for U.S.-Mexico trade, a logistics technology startup aims to simplify cross-border freight operations.
Cargado, co-founded by CEO Matt Silver and Chief Technology Officer Rylan Hawkins, has launched an invite-only load board designed to enhance connectivity, reliability, and transparency in cross-border freight logistics.
The product was officially announced on September 23, following its quiet launch on April 1, and is currently being used by over 50 logistics customers.
Shipments crossing the border from Mexico into the United States typically involve multiple transportation and logistics providers, including U.S. and Mexican carriers, transfer carriers, potential transload facilities, and customs brokers in both countries.
