Walmart has surpassed PepsiCo to become the largest private motor carrier in North America. The retail giant's expansion of its in-house trucking operations, which now includes 12,663 power units, has propelled it to the top of the Transport Topics Top 100 Private Carriers list.

In the list of top 100 private fleet trucking companies for the year 2024, Walmart Inc. holds the top position with a staggering revenue of $648.1 billion, followed by PepsiCo Inc. with revenue at $91.5 billion.
Earnings and Growth:
Regarding annual revenue, Amazon.com Inc. takes the third position with a revenue of $574.8 billion, closely following Walmart and far exceeding PepsiCo. Among the top ten companies, Nutrien showed significant growth, entering the list at the tenth position.
New Entries & Drops:
Several companies, such as Nutrien, Dollar General, and The Home Depot, joined the top 100 list, whereas some dropped in ranking. For instance, Pilot Co. dropped from 20th to 28th position compared to the previous year.
