Tesla Semi Spotted Being Used By Another Customer

The Tesla Semi program is quietly growing, with a new customer joining the ranks besides PepsiCo. While production started over a year ago, Tesla Semis have primarily been used internally and for a pilot program with Martin Brower (MB).

This recent sighting suggests Tesla is now testing the electric semi-truck with Sysco, one of the biggest food distributors in the US. This is a significant development as Tesla ramps up production. While initial estimates targeted a production increase at Gigafactory Nevada, construction has just begun.

Despite the delay in volume production, Tesla maintains its target of late 2025 for mass production and wider customer deliveries in 2026. The Tesla Semi promises a range of 500 miles on a single charge with a full load, potentially revolutionizing long-haul freight transportation.
