Cargo Theft Bust: Over $1.5 Million Worth Of Goods Recovered

In a major bust, Riverside County authorities uncovered a massive operation involving organized retail theft and trailer cargo theft. The raid, culminating from a multi-state investigation, led to the arrest of Amritpal Singh and Jagdeep Singh, both 24 years old.

On February 6th, deputies executed a search warrant at a retail store in Hemet, uncovering a warehouse brimming with stolen goods.

Over 200 pallets stacked with brand-new merchandise, ranging from high-end electronics and baby essentials to everyday toiletries, were seized. The estimated value of the stolen goods surpasses $1.5 million, authorities reported.

Investigators also recovered a stolen semi-truck and trailer believed to be used in the thefts. The two suspects now face charges of grand theft and possession of stolen property.
